What is it?
When a solution is needed for a person in the field to regularly send his/her location at pre-determined intervals or distance – also known as the bread crumb effect – or to send an emergency alert, via a smart man down system.

Is this true personal tracking?
Yes, true personal tracking has been developed for as an application to be loaded on selected mobile phones that have GPS capability.

Features of the software

* Slide and one button click SOS sending on most supported phones.
* SOS messages triggered are relayed to the supervisors as defined in the web account.
* Messages relayed to supervisors are sent over e-mail / SMS / Twitter / IM and automated voice.
* One user defined number is also called directly from the phone – so 911 or 000 or a user defined number is still activated from the phone.
* Message sent from the phone contains the street location (in 24 supported countries) and for other regions suburb level position.
* Exact Lat / Long position is available on the website.
* User may opt to send just a position to the website as a record of location. Ordinary positions do not trigger alerts.Most phones can operate globally and with a roaming enabled GPRS SIM card – your last location record is a click away.
* Your privacy is protected as you decided when to send the position.
* A stringent security system ensures that the data we receive is actually from the registered device.
* A timer based SOS allows automatic SOS sending if you are not able to get back in time from a task.
* The phone beeps 8 seconds before sending the auto SOS.
* On starting the SOS the phone will either beep or vibrate. This is useful for people who want to trigger an SOS without letting anyone around know about it by enabling the stealth mode under settings.
* Continuous tracking SOS – an interval can be set and the SOS once triggered will keep on sending the location and SOS signal for as long as the user wishes or the battery lasts.
* Continuous tracking mode allows users to send in their normal location as a user specified interval. The difference between the Continuous Tracking SOS and the continuous tracking mode is that it unlike SOS, the location breadcrumbs will not generate the alert SMS / e-mails from the Global GPS nerve center.
* The user can now in addition to the normal Global GPS tracking website, add a destination SMS number. On clicking the SOS button the raw location data will be sent to the number specified under the settings.

What are the costs?
One time cost for the mobile phone to subscribe for on going tracking. Subscription also available in Australia, USA, Canada and India.

The SIM card for the GPS unit needs to be provided by you or will be provided by us in the subscription model.
